Scanning QR Codes
The app’s built-in QR code feature makes it fast and easy to connect with other attendees.
How to Scan
In the mobile app, tap the QR Code icon located in the bottom tab bar.
Choose the “Scan QR Code” tab.
Point your camera at another attendee’s QR code. The QR code may be:
On their badge (if the event uses printed QR codes)
In their mobile app under “My Code”.
Once scanned:
You’ll save the scan, and if the attendee joined the app and opted in for matchmaking, and can chat or suggest a meeting
If the attendee did not join via the app, you may still scan their badge QR, resulting in limited data captured and the ability to add notes only
After scanning, the lead appears in your Scans list in the mobile app under the Networking and People tabs.

Even if an attendee skipped joining the app, scanning their badge QR code still allows capture of basic registrant details and adding notes.
Lead scanning access depends on event settings
If a user deletes their app account or is removed from the event, they may show up as “Deleted user” or “Deleted sponsor” in reports.
Ensure camera permission is granted on your phone—without it, scanning will not work.
