A representative is an attendee linked to a sponsor's booth. This article is for representatives. It lists what changes for you in the mobile app and the web app once you are linked, and what your sponsor admin sees about you.
Before you start
Join the event in the app. You appear on the booth in the app only after you have joined.
Use your company's name in your profile. By default, Brella links you when your company name starts with the booth's name. The organizer can use another rule or add you by hand. See Link representatives to your booth.
Turn on networking. Without it, attendees can't request meetings with you, and you can't scan leads.
Check that you are linked
Open the event's sponsors page (the organizer names it, for example Sponsors or Partners) and open your company's booth. Your card is in the section named Representatives (or the name your company gave it). The section shows up to 5 cards and a Show all link.
If you are not there, ask the organizer to link you. Your sponsor admin can't add you.
What changes once you are linked
Booth button on your profile. When the organizer turned on Show booth links in profile, attendees who open your profile see a button with your booth's logo, name and category. It opens the booth. See the next section.
Lead scanning. When the organizer turned on Lead scanning for your booth, you can scan attendees' QR codes from the QR Code tab, add notes and answer your booth's scan questions. Your scans appear on the booth's Scans tab for your sponsor admin. See Lead scanning for sponsor representatives.
Meetings at your booth. When the organizer and your sponsor admin turned on Meet-at-booth, you can hold 1:1 meetings at your booth. See Offer meetings at your booth.
Company meeting limit. When the organizer set a limit for your booth, Home shows My company meetings and Networking gets a Company connections tab with your team's meetings. See Company meeting limit and Company connections.
Activity on the booth page. Your sponsor admin sees your meeting and chat counts on the booth's Representatives tab: accepted, pending and cancelled meetings, declined requests, open chats and total messages.
Meeting requests, chats and bookmarks work as for every attendee.
Show your booth on your profile
The booth button needs the organizer's setting Show booth links in profile. With it on:
If you represent one booth, the button appears on your profile without any action from you.
If you represent several booths, choose which one to show:
Select your avatar in the event header to open Account.
Under Event settings, select the row Partner representative? ("Link partner to your profile"). Brella uses the word "partner" unless the organizer set another word for sponsors.
In "Choose partner", select a booth. The app shows "Linked partner to your profile".
The row then shows the chosen booth with its logo and category. Select it to open the booth (one booth) or to pick another one (several booths). If you don't see the row, the organizer has turned the booth links off.
Good to know
Automatic linking links you to one booth. If you represent a second company, the organizer adds you to that booth by hand.
If you represent several booths, the meeting limit and the My company meetings card follow the booth you were linked to first.
Your sponsor admin can remove you from the booth. Being removed also removes the leads you scanned from the booth's Scans tab.
Sponsor admins can be linked as representatives when the booth has automatic linking enabled. If they are not linked, the organizer can add their registration by hand. See Manage your account in the admin panel.
Troubleshooting
I don't see the QR Code tab
The organizer has not turned on lead scanning for the event, or you can't scan and have no QR code of your own. Representatives can scan only when Lead scanning is on for their booth.
My booth is not on my profile
The organizer has not turned on Show booth links in profile, or you represent several booths and have not chosen one under Account > Event settings.
I don't see Company connections
The organizer has not set a meeting limit for your booth. The tab exists only with a limit.
